Jeanne’s experience and people skills came from a unique upbringing and a strong business foundation. In her 25 year television career, she worked with legendary journalists, produced network news and commercials, and negotiated advertising contracts for the biggest events in television. She later produced and hosted TV travel and wine segments as The Well Traveled Texan, some of which you can still see on our website. After completing her Sommelier wine education, She started Well Traveled Texan in 2014 by personally hosting small group wine trips to France, growing it to the concierge travel agency it is today with a focus on custom itineraries and client service, planning trips for couples, families and groups to destinations all over the globe.
Jeanne grew up in Europe and the East Coast of the US, later graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with degrees in Advertising & Radio/Television/Film production (and a handy minor in French), followed by post graduate studies at UCLA’s school of Film & Television. In 2001 she moved from Los Angeles to Houston, married her husband, Layne, and continued working for local affiliates of The CW, CBS, and NBC stations while raising two world-wise daughters, Delaney and Nicolette, hosting exchange students from Europe, and traveling the world.
Well Traveled Texan Luxury Travel is a member of the Signature Travel Network, and is a member of numerous hotel VIP programs that offer clients complimentary amenities at over 1500 five star properties.
Whether she sends you on adventures like exploring Croatia’s islands by private speedboat, or tasting your way through the glory of Europe’s countryside, Jeanne’s an expert at delivering The World, Well Done.
