This is the most popular question I get and my answer is always the same, Yes. I never leave home without it and neither should you. For a tiny fraction of what your trip costs (kids under 18 are insured for free on adult policies), you can insure yourself, family or traveling companions to protect you from many scenarios that can – and do – happen before and during a trip. How do I know it’s worth it? Because I’ve personally ended up in foreign hospitals (not fun), had flights cancelled by airlines who no longer care if you have to spend the night in the airport, and had luggage lost (and still never heard from again). I’ve had clients who I’ve planned their dream vacation with, then, sadly, a loved one has passed away a week before their departure. They got every penny of their money back because they had travel insurance. Heaven forbid one of your traveling companions becomes gravely ill or passes away on your trip. Travel Insurance covers medical evacuation as well as repatriation of remains (which can be unbelievably costly, on top of the grief). Even something as common as delayed flights can wreak havoc on your trip, not to mention the host of other calamites that can pop up. Travel insurance pays you when the unexpected happens so you can enjoy your vacation without the worry. Trust me when I say you need it. I’ll be happy to run you a quote, just ask.
Yes, I love brainstorming with clients! I keep up to date on destinations and use my experience to tell you where to go – and where to stay away from – to help you plan the perfect vacation. Just ask!
Yes! We’re experts at budgeting and pricing trips. We can tell you where you’ll need to spend more (Italy’s Amalfi Coast, Japan, Hawaii) because of supply vs demand – and some places are just always more expensive to visit. We pride ourselves in managing clients’ expectations and offering options to fit your idea of travel. Just ask!
Yes – we’re travelers, too, and we know what you can fit in, when to go where, and what to do when you arrive. Just ask!
Nope! We’ll kindly decline these requests as the rates travel agents get for coach travel are the same as the general public. If you’re flying Business or First Class we do work with consolidators that can bring fares down, and we have special airfares for cruise itineraries. Just ask!
